So many people were disappointed by the decision to drop the HEMI® V8 from the 2025 Ram 1500 that it's making a return for 2026. The famed 5.7-liter engine still makes 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque, providing the power many Fort Mitchell truck buyers want. A new Express trim also joins the Ram 1500 lineup for 2026 as a low-cost, value-focused model. The Express has unique styling elements like blacked-out headlamp bezels and dark-gray interior trim that give it an aggressive look.
Trim Levels
The 2026 Ram 1500 is available in nine trim levels for Newport, KY buyers: Tradesman, Express, Big Horn, Lone Star, Rebel, Laramie, Limited Longhorn, Limited and Tungsten. The entry-level Tradesman is a no-frills work truck with vinyl seats and steel wheels, while the range-topping Tungsten comes equipped with ventilated leather seats and a 360-degree camera system. In between, models like the Big Horn and Laramie provide a just-right blend of comfort, convenience, and value. For adventure seekers, the off-road-ready Rebel comes standard with rugged upgrades like a locking rear differential, tow hooks, and all-terrain tires.
