Spring Will Welcome the New 2017 Chrysler Pacifica to Fort Thomas

Once upon a time, the Chrysler Pacifica was a long-reared station wagon, which appealed to a specific niche of drivers in Fort Thomas, but not quite enough to hold its place in the lineup as the demand for sedans and crossovers increased.

However, brand-new, completely new, unbelievably new, the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica arrived on the scene in January, throwing aside everything we thought we knew about what a minivan could be.

It brings the versatility and the functionality of a conventional minivan, with the aggressively American styling of models like the 200 and 300, and the fuel economy of... a hybrid.

Explore 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Trim Levels

Available with both a gasoline and a hybrid powertrain, this revolutionary new minivan goes where none have gone before. 2017 Pacifica LX, Touring, Touring-L, Touring-L Plus, Limited, and Limited Platinum models come standard with the award-winning Pentastar V6, while the 2017 Pacifica Touring Hybrid and Limited Platinum Hybrid offer the same standard V6 combined with a lithium-ion battery that can deliver 30 miles all-electric driving range. Pricing isn't yet available.

Release Date and Specs for the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica

The standard 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine standard in gas-powered Pacifica models offers 287 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. The hybrid powertrain will allow for an equivalent 80 mpg rating.

Along with being more powerful than its outgoing sibling, the new Pacifica is also larger--with 140.5 cubic feet of available cargo space behind the front row of seats. And, since Chrysler's legendary Stow 'N Go is offered in the new model, you'll be able to make use of every inch of space in the new 2017 Pacifica minivan.
